Chinese camp tent frame
I have heard, for many years, of a tent frame that was still intact from
CPRR construction days; after searching for it along with the original discover,
it
was found, and photographed. Though difficult to see, there is a depression under
the frame, this is consistent with other Chinese camps found along the old grade.
Immediately to the left of this frame there was another one, however it had collapsed,
and was no more than a small pile of old juniper sticks. This camp was located
directly above a larger camp that was similiar in appearance, both had an abundance
of Chinese artifacts: broken blue-on-white porcelain, broken jars, etc.
