CPRR Crew:

It's great to finally be done with the mountains. We can move much faster now that we are on flat land. We are in the Nevada desert and almost to Utah. 

Don't slow down. The Union Pacific crews are now laying track in Utah. They still have to build some trestle bridges and blast some tunnels.

We must hurry to Ogden, Utah. Whoever reaches Ogden first can build a depot and capture all of the Salt Lake City business.
